What is REAP?

REAP

REAP (short for Responsible Energy Advocates Programme) is a sustainability programme wholly sponsored by PowerSeraya.

It aims to develop tertiary students to be energy advocates in Singapore by:

REAP is jointly developed by PowerSeraya with founding partners National Environment Agency and South West Community Development Council. Since its inaugural launch in 2010, REAP has been growing from strength to strength. In 2012, the programme was expanded to include associate partner South East Community Development Council.

What is EIP?

The Energy Improvement Programme (EIP) is targeted at helping residents lower their household energy consumption, with the assistance of a team of student volunteers. The EIP is the community service component of REAP (Responsible Energy Advocates Programme).

The EIP targets ‘above-the-line’ households and incorporates a combination of behavioural change and energy saving fittings to deliver reductions in household energy consumption.
